We are looking for a dedicated and experienced professional to lead the triage, assessment, and management of safeguarding concerns involving both children and adults across our clubs and communities. This pivotal role ensures that all concerns are handled with care, professionalism, and in line with best practice—working closely with rugby clubs, external agencies, and internal teams to uphold the highest standards of safeguarding integrity.

  • Training and Development: Develop, update, and manage the delivery of safeguarding training and resources, ensuring content reflects current legislation, trends, and case learnings.

  • Partnership and Continuous Improvement: Build strong relationships with external safeguarding partners, contribute to multi-agency responses, and use case reviews to inform policy, training, and practice improvements.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience of dealing with safeguarding cases in areas such as police, social work or voluntary organisations.

  • A passion for creating safe environments for children and vulnerable adults to enjoy rugby.
